Practical work is demonstrated and taught in easy to digest units. Working in pairs you will learn how to palpate the craniosacral rhythm on yourself and on others.
You will be taught how CST can have such a significant impact on so many of our body systems. And how using our hands as listening tools we can feel deeply to what is going on beneath the surface.
Your Tutor
My name is Caro and I have been practising as a CranioSacral Therapist since 1996. I have been teaching this introductory workshops since 2003 and am always honoured to introduce new folks to CranioSacral Therapy. CST is not a normal job, it is more of a vocation. Once you get it, you feel the rhythm and the body talks to you, there's no going back. To hear the excitement from someone new to CST when they first feel the rhythm is joyous.
I began as a massage therapist but was quickly converted to CST when I was given a treatment by a friend. I now work from two different practices, am a mentor for student practitioners, run a study group for all levels of CS therapists and am director to the social enterprise Upledger Community Programmes which runs Intensive Therapy programmes.
